Huge FreakScene good luck to another FreakScene member, *Sophie*. She is participating in a distance equestrian national event in France August 19th, from all reports a challenging race at the best of times. Seems it will be even more gruelling than expected due to the heatwave in France. You can get some more information on the event,Team Lulu, offer your wishes for them both to cross the finish line safely & view a wicked promo pic put together by Team Lulu’s Spiritual Leader in the following thread…

August 17, 2003 at 6:44 am #95604hey Allison, thanks for putting the latest news overview together

I’d really like to hear some impressions from the film festival in LA which is going on this weekend, with J and lots of other cool artists performing and talking in panel discussions
August 17, 2003 at 9:50 am #95605yeah, me too … we want to know … how was last night
?
… and OSX were we lucky enough to have you there taking pictures
:aliensmile:August 25, 2003 at 4:43 am #95606Hey, cool new pix!
Just wanted to say that according to
"law"
this pic (http://www.freakscene.net/bbs/album_view.php?id=138) should be in a different section, tho, in the "J with fans"-album, that is – because that is the back of my head you captured there in front of J, Leah
… I feel very honored!

It’s also very cool to see the pix of/with Lou – I read Michael Azezrad’s "Our Band Could Be Your Life" recently, and have been thinking about the internal relationships of the early Dino incarnation a lot since then.
Anyway, it’s about time that J came over to Germany again – preferably with a full blown bandAugust 25, 2003 at 7:35 am #95607Nice pics, Leah,
I´m on one of the Hamburg-gig it´s only my head at the left bottom of the picture, I was sitting just at the stage in front of J.The shoulder at the right side must be Spaceboy! Greetings to Spaceboy!
And to my left side at the stage was Flying Cloud! Unfortunately not visible on this picture. Greetings to you, too!!
And Pelt Samatary, you´re right, it´s time for an European tour with the fog, we´re waiting…..
August 25, 2003 at 3:21 pm #95608yeah, too bad I’m not on one of the Hamburg pics

really love the pics, though
that’s the pic with J, reiner & Spaceboy (is it you, Spacey?) nice to hear from you again, reiner. I really appreciated the instrumentals of J songs you sent me

too bad we didn’t know you then, Leah! cool that you made the trip even though ice rain has been announced for that night (fortunately it only came down the next afternoon) unhappily, the bad weather held NirvanaRist back from coming

Hope to see you all at the next J gig (hopefully not too far away in the future!)
thanks again for the cool pics, Leah
