I know, someone called my Rickenbacker gay once and I just said it’s supposed to sound like that. Terrapin is kinda right though, but the guitar is totally acceptable unless we have some kinda timequake and trip back to the disco era. That metallic sparkle is new, never saw a guitar with that kind of paint. Will J play it? I have no clue about the hardware setup, but a jumbo fretboard would probably be hard to handle for me. Now gimme that guitar. ;)

Might have. Sadly, it was recently discussed in Poland whether Teletubbies should be banned from public television because Tinky Winky carries a handbag:

ive seen other guitars with that type of paint job but not in purple (squier supersonic). pretty appealling overall though.

well let’s not make a big point about the homosexual color thing. I was refering to a text (which I of course can’t find) where purple and a triangl were said to be symbols for gay.

i think the quote your talking about is:

^ that silver guitar is a Fender Esquire – same shape as a Telecaster but it only has 1 pickup

Why is the "whammy bar" (i wish i knew another name for that piece) positioned between the High E and B strings? What’s that silver knob on the bottom of the body, down in the front? This guitar has the coolest shape, it’s a wonder it’s not more widely used than the stratocaster. Maybe J doesn’t alllow. :P

The tremolo arm is always between the e and b isn’t it on the Jazzmaster? It definitely is on the Jag. I guess it’s because of the floating tremolo

Smart move for Fender. It’s position just makes me think it would interfere or touch the E and B strings, but I guess they got their designers on that one and figured out how to not.

i think what you mean is the trem arm lock, which, as the name suggests, locks the trem in place when you slide it along, to stop it falling out.

the trem arm never interferes with my Jag strings, and i’ve never heard that happening to anyone else. although when i first saw the jaguar before i bought it that idea came to mind too. but no, it works really well.

very nice, not seen that before. i’m convinced J has a blue tele/esquire, its just finding the pictures thats the bitch now.

That’s the full performance with the blue Esquire.
