Thank god they put the gibson style bridge on this puppy. I wonder if they’ll sell it separately because most aftermarket bridges still aren’t right even with "f" spacing.
The jazz/jag bridge even the mustang (although it has improved saddles) is an unmitigated piece of shit.July 18, 2007 at 5:48 pm #115606Why is there STILL no mention of this guitar on Fender’s website?

Its really a shame too when you think about it; Fender already has a page on their Squire site for the Avril Lavigne model guitar. Effing lame if you ask me.
July 18, 2007 at 6:32 pm #115608I don’t know. I just assume they’ll include it when they update their website.
Hopefully they are not so "traditional" that J has to become "aged" to be listed.

I guess if people know him it’ll be through Elvis
July 19, 2007 at 1:39 pm #115612I wondered who the guy was that played on the Ricky Nelson singles. Scotty Moore played some cool guitar for Elvis too.

No, not disappointing. I think it’s just cool for J’s to have another in the collection. The sig looks kinda like a lasso there. I was telling a friend about this guitar on ICQ earlier, and how it would be cool if it were silver or grey, and he mentioned that the only history lesson he took with him on his travels was the tall tale of Pecos Bill. He could never pay attention to the rest of history, because he was always studying the dinosaurs on the back of a classmate’s shirt.
July 20, 2007 at 5:05 am #115617I can’t believe it’s retailing at £600. I’d rather buy one from America and get it shipped over, with inflation it’d probably be cheaper.
July 20, 2007 at 5:44 am #115618Whatever.
