$840.00 is not bad for a jazzmater, i might have to get one in the future. i payed like 700 each for my mustang reissues.. thats not really much more.
July 27, 2007 at 4:50 pm #115636got a question for you guys. I just got the guitar and I think the tremolo is screwed up. shouldn’t it snap or screw into the guitar? it falls right out nothing holding it in place. Any help would be appreciated.
July 27, 2007 at 9:14 pm #115637With my Jazzmaster, and all of them I assumably, they do not screw in.
Put it in place, then push it in harder and it should go in.July 27, 2007 at 10:36 pm #115638Yep, Malkmus is right they just slide in.
July 28, 2007 at 2:15 am #115639Thanks, I’m sending it back. The arm just falls out. I’m kind of bummed…..
July 28, 2007 at 2:05 pm #115640ffs, don’t. my jaguar arm falls out all the time, and it used to screw in. a mate tells me im probably just doing it wrong. when i first took it out the shop the guy unscrewed it, so i don’t think it’s broken. i don’t use tremolo arms anyway, so i’m ok.
take it to a shop and ask a guy how to do i before you decide whether or not its fucked, but jesus christ, don’t send it back!
July 28, 2007 at 9:34 pm #115641on my jaguar i just wrapped the end of the arm in electrical tape, enough so it fit very snugly. never a problem with it falling out.
July 29, 2007 at 7:56 am #115642I’ve just gotten used to having the arm hanging down, it swings like crazy if I don’t have a lead plugged in though =/

July 29, 2007 at 7:31 pm #115644j most definitely goes out of tune.
July 29, 2007 at 9:41 pm #115645I’m not sure I’ve ever heard J get through a whole song IN tune!

yes, and J probably does. he retunes a couple times in the DVD, if i remember right.
well, you’ll go a bit sharp or flat if you really wank it, but unless you break something you won’t go miles off. from my experience anyway.
August 2, 2007 at 3:07 pm #115647Does the J.Mascis JM come with a gigbag?
August 2, 2007 at 3:39 pm #115648I don’t believe so, the stores that have them are selling cases seperately. Its a bummer, it would be cool to have a purple case with green fur inside. Oh well.
August 2, 2007 at 4:09 pm #115649Yeah,that WOULD be cool.Well which JM case goes better with purple? The black or the brown?
