rstguitars is probably right with that deduction of adding mass to the headstock of a guitar, since people do tend to want added mass on the headstock. a jazzmaster i would really want to see is the seven pole piece jazzmaster prototype, ive only seen photos, and it looks stunning.

good news everyone i just scored a 1961 jazzmaster body and a 59 gold repro guard for my guitar project and mis hardware parts
i have everthing but the tremolo, guts, pickups, and a nice neck

Talking with Lou at the Seattle show he said that Daisy Rock bass is CoCo’s, he just played it because it was there. I don’t think he liked it very much. He’s way stoked on the P Bass he’s playing now.

J said at the Olympia show that he was under the impression that his Jazzmaster would be available later this year (July or August). He told me he already has like 20 of them. I guess just one guy makes em’ at Fender, J said he can make like 30 a month. I’m guessing they’ll be limited, which means they’ll be expensive. Oh well I still want one.

Yea – that figures. I finally break down and buy a new Jazzmaster and now Fender comes out with the Masic’s addition. Guess I will have to buy another one.
