Before the show, we had to stand in line to trade our ticket confirmation email for actual tickets, which sucked until J showed up wandering around the lobby. I started chatting with him and he remembered me from his Brooklyn show at a yoga place a month or so ago, and I got another hug. 😀

Kurt Vile came back out and accompanied J on guitar and backing vocals on Make It Right, Not Enough, and Ocean in the Way.

I was there last night too! Right up front. J’s notebook fell over and I tossed it back to him, He said “Thanks”. We met him right when he arrived. Kurt Vile was outside with a friend. We chit chatted a little and I got a picture with him. The whole night was just fantastic.

I’m glad to hear of your experience too. Glad you had a good time.
