not sure about how the folks at So What feels about it, but it would be great to hook my md-recorder into the soundboard. I’m hoping something can be arranged if I tell them that it’s for the members here at freakscene or something like that. The mic I’ve got for my md-recorder is really shitty, so the soundboard deal is my only hope.

do you have any idea as to what J might think of a soundboard recording of the show for the cult here at freakscene? For in the end, it’s gotta be up to him -not the guys at So What.last summer I spoke to the stab at sowhat and they said I had to ask the artist/manager.
last year J had a man with him who did the soundboard, they said. I’m not sure if that’s the case on the soloacoustic-tour.I’ve been looking for a copy of last years show, but I’ve had no luck.
This time I hope to get a friend to do a camerarecording of the show.

a camerarecording of the show would be great. imagine a DV recording of the show, with sound from the soundboard. heaven.
I’ve also tried to get a recording from last years show, but I’m starting to think that there wasn’t made one. talked with some of the bootleggers at platemessa at Rockefeller last saturday -they said they’d never heard of it either.
I am 100% there were at least two people filming the event. One of the guys stood beside me right in front of the stage by the right pa-speaker. I never found him after the concert.
another guy I saw when entering SOWHAT was holding a papersign with the writing: "want ticket". Eventually, he got hold of a ticket. he was not from norway, cause I spoke to him after the show. He claimed he didn’t film the show, eventhough I actually saw him do it.
the two guys are obviously not members of the Board.
hmmm… gotta get out an APB on those guys. Kills me to think that there’s a tape of J out there, gotta have it!

I was wondering how many tickets SOWHAT are putting out for sale, so I asked them. They told me they are putting out the usual amount of tickets, which is about 300.
the show was packed last summer, but I somehow feel that the promotion was better last year. though, it is maybe a bit early to say when it’s over 30 days left to the show.
I am sure there will be three hundred people standing (or sitting) in front of the stage this time, too.

sorry to have offended you, it was not my attention to do so.
cause I thought the guy holding the sign might have been a fan travelling from city to city, land to land, to see J. That was the first thought that stroke my mind, when I saw the english written sign.
