I also like the Jagmasters, you can get them for about $250, they 2nd gens have the full scale necks

Do you know what years they made them with the 25.5" necks? I’ve always wanted to pick one up, but all the ones I’ve seen have been 24".

I don’t know for certain what years they made full scale. You can however tell by the color. The Montego Black, Silver Sparkle and Candy Apple Red were the full scales, as far as I know they have never made these colors (less the black) in short scale. I’m wanting to get probably a silver one next (so I dont feel bad sanding it) and refinish it to Lake Placid Blue w/matching headstock and a tortoise pickguard, then add two black p90s. Should be looking/sounding great then. I think that mine is a 2004, so if you can find one around ’04, you should be fine….or just make sure the one you buy is C.A.R. or Silver. If you don’t like the color, I know you can do a good refinish, or just leave it natural, but I’m not sure how the body is constructed as Ive never refinished a Jagmaster.
I do recomend that people get one, they are really cool guitars and feel good too. Go get one for real cheap and have fun now…..tons cheaper than a Warmoth Frankenmaster. ;D

you know……if we get to play in Boston….you could always play my Jagmaster. Hint hin, wink wink…nudge nudge….say no more. A winks as good as a nudge to a blind bat…know what I mean? I also like Jagmasters because the name reminds me of my favorite drink…….until I wake up the next day….I swear it off then, well, until I get more.

Have you seen Dillion’s take on the Jazzmaster yet? Actually, it’s more like the Jagmaster. Check it out…

heres a weird one i picked up a few weeks ago
yes the body is stock
and its a 94-95 model (made in japan not a crafted one)
sadly no date stamp under the neck*but i tracked down the date thanks to fender.com*

its a 2 piece flame maple top
and ill be damned its lighter then my 97 model
i think if i get another one its gonna a later crafted one cause the necks are thicker and i like bigger necks*
