I heard last night John Lee hooker died.I think of him being the one of the last of delta bluesmen.Maybe you don`t think this belongs in a Dinosaur/j fan site but Captain Beefheart,Tom Waits,Nick Cave,and the Jon spencer blues explosion all owe a debt to John Lee.I think some of us listened to these artists
and think about their influences.
Rest in peace John Lee.

I agree. He definalty made an impression with his amazing music.

Bummer. I hadn’t heard. I saw him a few times and actually hung out with him a little after one show. He was cool.

Wow! I totally didn’t hear this. Man, he was great. (I wasn’t nearly this upset when I heard Archie Bunker died a few moments ago.)
