Javro,
I’m sitting here in Dublin right across from the Temple Music Centre. First time here, Dublin is awesome!
I checked out the inside of the venue last night – pretty good.
Can’t wait for the show tonight – it’s been 11 years since my last Dino show!
May try and sit in on the sound check etc…
The beers will be flowing!
See ya at the Warrington around 4.
I’m gonna try and score an audio at tonights show.
Tim
I just reread my last post – my wife has brown hair and I have blond – that was a late night typo after a long afternoon and evening in Soho. I had some friends in town so I brought them on the standard London drinking tour.

December 11, 2000 at 2:15 am #61829Javro,
My flight was late and then re-routed so I didn’t get to the Warrington till 1630. So I think I missed you.
I’ll be home for another hour or so if you repost I should see it.
The Dublin show was good – The soundman was lousy. I think they cut it short a bit.
I ran into J in town on Saturday afternoon. He reconfirmed that the John Peel Session was being taped on Wed. If you’re around maybe you should walk over there.
If you are reading this before the show. I’ll be wearing jeans a blue v-neck sweater with a grey stripe and a blue jacket – I also wear glasses. Short blond hair too. My wife had enough loud music on Sat night so she won’t be joining me.
If I don’t see you – enjoy the show.
Let’s try and hook up for another sometime or at least a beer.

December 11, 2000 at 7:43 am #61830Hey Tim
What an amazing show – easily the best time I have ever seen him (except maybe an accoustic peformance in New York about six years ago).
Shame he didn’t say much, but I guess he never does.
I was so pleased he played Ammaring and Little Fury Things. I made the terrible mistake of thinking that I was 16 again, and went headlong into the snakebite and black and am feeling much the worse this morning.
Great show though. Speak soon
December 12, 2000 at 12:37 pm #61831No mention of the John Peel session on John Peel’s web page. Is it still on? There’s some other band listed on that date.
December 13, 2000 at 9:52 am #61832Simon – the session is only being recorded today.
I guess it will be broadcast sometime in the forthcoming weeks.
December 17, 2000 at 6:44 pm #61833okay, here’s the deal: from what i can make out the fog session is gonna go out as part of the peel festive 50, therefore any hopes of an extended play might be limited. as far as i know, it’s tuesday the 19th december so get yer tapes primed……
i need more light…January 11, 2001 at 12:30 pm #61834So not only did they broadcast the festive 50 session, but yesterday there were great versions of ammaring, i’m not fine and waistin’ – i got oddgy copies to tape, but has anyone else got a decent version to download? back b4 u go was especially excellent…
i need more light…January 11, 2001 at 12:41 pm #61835Hey ammaring, if you encode those dodgy versions I’d be happy. We can always keep looking for the better quality ones!
jeremiah
ps – do they interview with the peel sessions? J said that it was just an extremely rushed studio experience but I forgot to ask about that.
