J’s "enthusiasm"

What’s with all the gripes about the man’s "enthusiasm"? What do you want him to do? Yell "Heeeeelllloooooo Cleveland!!!!!"? Smile nice and purty and thank all of you wooooonderful people for coming, over and over? At two of the three shows I just saw J threw more energy into his guitar playing than I’ve ever seen him do before, and at the third (Boston) his energy level was only slightly lower by comparison. What more do you want from the guy?
