          "I wanna rock right now
I’m Rob Base and I came to get down
          I’m not internationally known
But I’m known to rock the microphone"

          Pure class.

Anyone manage to record the show? If so, perhaps someone could MP3 encode it.

It is hard to imagine that I could be more impressed with J Mascis…….but I am!!!!!!
That list of tunes is great, to clarify a couple of titles
              5.Sonic’s Rendezvous Band City Slang
(Hellacopters do a pretty good version of this)
              12.Could that be Sham 69
15.The Only Ones Another Girl Another Planet
(one of the best pop tunes ever).
Saw the set list from the 23rd, god full of great tunes and they even do a stooges cover…I cannot wait until Nov 4 in Minn.

Yeah – I got it on tape.

Is that any good? Don’t know – I may publish an internet magazine, but I can barely use a typewriter.

Interesting that J checked Rory Gallagher.
I dont suppose many people know who he is (was) but I saw him play many times in the late 70s. Famous for his no nonsense guitar playing and his reliance on a lumberjack shirt as all season apparel.

Next we will have to dig out our old Robin Trower LPs !
