      Hip Hip Horay! J is coming to LA!

      I’m so excited for the June 20 show and its at my favorite place to see bands, (The Troubadour) which is even better. Does anyone know if he is doing all of his own stuff or is it the Stooges stuff that he’s been doing a lot of lately? I missed him at the All Tomorrow’s Party show at UCLA last month. Did anyone see that? I’m really excited to see him again.

        Hey Shade,

        J is doing his own stuff acoustic so far thru this tour, recently though J did some Stooges covers with Cobra Verde after his initial set of songs. He even is playing a new song which is very cool!!!

        Too bad you missed the ATP deal, Kim and Thurston from Sonic Youth guest vocalists, Scott and Ron Asheton…YIKES!!!

        Enjoy the show, hope you let us know how it goes.

          Thanks for the info! I can’t wait. I love his acoustic shows. I’ve seen him acoustic twice now so this will be the third time. I do love his loud powerful shows too though. Oh well. Thanks again for the information. <img>

            Its great to see that J is playing the Festival Primera Sound in Spain on May 17-18 (However, I hope he is over the jet lag by the time he hits St. Louis on the 22nd…)

            Anyone else out there planning on seeing the show in "the ‘Lou’"? Look for me in my specialty without a sound t-shirt:)
