Wish I could run into a cool sale like BR’s, gotta love those deals! Best I’ve found is a department store selling off all their gear, picked up lots of toys…power puff girls, looney tunes, Visible woman, man & dog models, all for 75% off
July 12, 2003 at 5:28 pm #94677I’m such an asshole. I did some impulse buying today.
1. Thursday (sticker on the cove said "imagine Dinosaur Jr meets a young angry Robert Smith of the Cure")

3. Jurassic 5 (don’t know the name of the album but they were playing it in the store where I bought jeans today)

At another closing Wherehouse I got:
J & MC–Psychocandy. It’s an import, but I don’t think there’s anything different about it. Their original price was 22 but they charged me 8. (Yes, I don’t have it already.
) Also, they are so stupid at this store that it was filed under the ‘P’s and on my receipt it says "Psychology".
Raveonettes–Whip it On. $4 new and I’ve seen dB mention them so I thought what the heck?
Teenage Fanclub–Songs from Nortern Britain. Used $3
D4–I forget the name, but it was used for $2.
Back to the other store on Tuesday!
July 17, 2003 at 7:08 pm #94683The last of the Wherehouse blowouts:
Cousteau–Sirena–$9
Libertines–Up the Bracket–$7
Stratford 4–Love & Distortion–$5
New Pornographers–Electric Version–$9That bastard lied and things were still 50% off.

The Haecht White Beer (and it’s glass) are in the freezer now, so, in a couple of minutes I am going to drink this nice cold, ice cold beer! (still 30 degrees over here, nine o’clock in the evening….)
