I just wanted to say that I am who I am, I’m not another member acting like a made up character that’s out to get 13lungz. I have been a Dinosaur jr. fan since the early 90’s. Throughout the years I, for whatever reason, stopped listening to them for a while. About a week or so ago (whenever I registered here) I was sitting in the living room with my 2 year old daughter, and randomly put in "Green Mind" for the first time in years, we were dancing and singing and having a good time. Now if I sing just one verse of "The Wagon" she points to the stereo and says "on". So anyway I came here that day looking for info on Dino jr. tourdates, new releases etc. I figured I would check the forum. That’s when I saw 13lungz "poetry", I just pointed out that he had posted the same 2 horrible raps in 2 different threads. The rest is history, he made up some more horrible lines about me… so I responded. I appologize for the nature and content of my immature battle raps. That’s not me, I was just having fun. I honestly could care less about dissing someone with words that rhyme. It’s really not that hard to do, absolutely no talent required whatsoever.

I would just like to start over and forget my first 5 posts. My name is stephe, and I do live in Detroit. I am a stay at home dad, and a part time locksmith. My favorite Dinosaur jr. album is You’re living all over me.

I know the topic of discussion for this thread and the poetry thread is closed but I understand, to some, all this word might be offensive, but (to me) it’s also another form of lingo, and an excercize in discussing censorship–which dB stands for denBuck has tried to do… Maybe there should be an open discussion about what is slander and offensive and how it may be reducing or changing the poetry thread in a way that is diminutive (whether it is or not…)–or maybe it should be dealt with between the two or three–or all of us, privately, with PM’s. Anymore thoughts?

The topic of discussion was closed due to continued abusive/aggressive behavior by the starter of this thread. Maybe you missed some of the posts that have been moved/deleted. We are not into censorship but we will also not allow continued abusive/aggressive behavior by anyone, the person was warned on a couple occasions, encouraged to try & settle the arguement privately versus the continued back & forth, he chose not to take those seriously so…

Thats it for me on the subject, I suggest you discuss what you need to privately on the matter. Remember this is a private site with guidelines regarding expected behavior towards other members, that line was crossed.
