I just bought tickets for:

the Kills – Paradiso (small hall) Amsterdam 3/18
Bettie Serveert/Sukilove – Paradiso Amsterdam – 5/22

If you like Bettie Serveert, check their latest album "Log 22", it is excellent. It’s much more rocking than their latest albums, I think that Carol is now using her other band Chitlin’ Fooks for her more quiet/ballad stuff…..

The Kills are the next in the White Stripes/Raveonettes boy-girl band line. On record they sound a little less bluesy than the White Stripes, imagine PJ Harvey backed by the Velvet Underground (or so… ), feel free to drop in, but don’t take too many spinvisjes with you

All here in Hamburg, no flight required…. but I can’t seem to find any advance sale for the Songs:Ohia gig on 2nd April

i had 2 tickets for the hazlewood gig and didn’t
go there becaus of girl hassle. there were 2 times when
i had tickets for the pixies (back in the yer ole days)
and i just didn’t make it (for no special reasons).
guess i’m just a lame ass. "i am a lazy son, i never get things done…" as

I called the Thalia theatre in Hamburg, and there’s no ticket sale or reservation in advance for Songs:Ohia – so I’ll have to go there early to be sure to get in (tickets are only 10 Euros)
