Dudes and Dudettes!!!!!
Last night I was basking in some glory. I went to a guitar clinic with Kerry King (Slayer…duh) and he was talking and playing guitar and junk. He let people play his guitar (the white V!!!) through like three pedals and his Marshall JCM800 fullstack! I got up o stage and played a Dying Fetus song and I walked off the stage and he was all, "I don’t know how I’m gonna top that one." Out of all of the people that got to play his guitar, there were like two or three people he didn’t correct or just bash, and I was one of them. I also got a pretty nice crowd responce. Afterwards I got him to sign my B.C. Rich shirt I got for playing on stage (I later gave it to my friend who didn’t get to get his autograph) and then I got my Epiphone V signed by "Kerry Fucking King." !!!!!!! Gah!!!!!!!
He’s a lot shorter than I thought he would be though….we’re the same height, he’s just got about a hundred pounds of muscle on me. It was kool though, his strap was set perfectly to where I set mine, BUT he tunes to C Sharp, (10-46)…..gee! The strings were vibrating so much I missed them on some notes, but the Dying Fetus song was so fast, and low pitched, and distorted that it all kinda meshed together so….eh! I got to play Kerry Kings guitar!!!!!!!!!!! WOO HOOOOO!!!!!
