It was pretty pleasing, Conan looked really cute. Only caught a bit of it though. Guests were all clay that I saw…the jackass guy & richard lewis, didn’t stick around to see Bowie maybe someone else can help out…
June 7, 2003 at 7:08 pm #82680Just saw some Placebo live from the Rock am Ring festival on German television (WDR3), don’t really like them, so I put a nice long videotape in my VCR, and hope to record the Audioslave gig, that will be shown (hopefully) somewhere during the night.
Live streams (audio/video) and lots more from the Rock am Ring festival can be found here
June 8, 2003 at 7:16 pm #82681MTV Europe just showed the Metallica gig live from the ‘Rock am Ring’ festival, and den Buck really liked it. Really tight HARD ROCKING gig, with all the pyrotechnics a show like this needs, and their new bass player (who used to be in Suicidal Tendencies and Infectious Grooves) is amazing! Seems like the band is back in form again, after some really dodgy stuff (recording with symphony orchestras etc.

June 26, 2003 at 2:23 pm #82687Got my thrill for the day when I watched the tape of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds on Letterman this morning. Couldn’t believe my ears or eyes…Chris Bailey ex of the Saints, one of my all all time fav singers, was center stage next to Nick Cave sounding better than he has in years!!!!! I had no idea he sang on the new release, god, I was screaming at the television, watched it several times. They played Bring It On, made my day
:aliensmile:June 27, 2003 at 5:10 pm #82688In about half an hours time from now (00.35 Central European Summer Time) BBC2 has about two and a half hour coverage of day one of the Glastonbury Festival:
from bbc.co.uk:
With live performances from the three main stages including R.E.M., David Gray, Primal Scream, Junior Senior, Morcheeba, Royksopp, The Ska-talites and much more. Also exclusive acoustic performances, backstage chat and gossip, filmed reports from around the vast site and maybe the odd fire-eater
June 28, 2003 at 7:48 pm #82689Today’s highlights of the Glastonbury Festival included the Flaming Lips
, the Polyphonic Spree
, Supergrass
and Radiohead, still don’t know what to think of them, but at least it looked cool…
