I’m totally gonna be in that dvd. My friends and I were at the Boston gigs. They know Lou pretty well. I wish I could have met him. They are inteviewed for the dvd.
As You all noticed there’s no videos on the new "green mind" and "where you been" albums.
I think that’s because those videos will be on the DVD.

It’s funny…..out of the three summer shows I saw (Noho, Central Park, and Boston) I thought the Avalon show was the weakest. Not at all a bad show, just not as focused and forceful as the other two. Central Park was truly amazing, yet I don’t recall having seen any video-ing going on, unfortunately. Both Irving Plaza shows in December easily topped all three summer gigs in my opinion, so I’m hoping lots of footage from those will make it on the dvd.
It’s bizarre how the story of what this dvd is going to consist of keeps shifting like the Bush administration’s rationale for invading Iraq: first it’s going to be a compilation of the summer gigs, then it’s going to be the Irving Plaza shows, then it’s going to be mainly one of the Middle East shows, then it’s going to be a comp of all the December shows, then……
I just wish they’d get the damn thing out already.
Were you the guy who got in a fight with that guy? I was right up there and he was pissing a bunch of people off.

I am not sure if you were talking to me or not with that last statement, but I was at the front where the fight took place. I was the short girl who the guy that fought with the drunk guy was trying to help. We probably talked. There was a lot of cool people around that night. We all were fighting to keep that coveted position by the edge of the stage!

anyone going to a Witch show this week, how about checking out potential release dates from the source…
I so want to see this, was hoping some video of the European tour would show up…none yet, still keeping my fingers crossed for a show from Italy to show up….
They filmed about 30 shows. Can’t you imagine that it’ll take a looong time to get all that stuff together ?
Anyway, I summed up the following after gathering ALL of the DVD info I have read within the last year – they’re planning 3 DVDs
1 – "Freakscene" – a documentary on Dino 1984-2005
2 – a Live DVD of 2005 shows (both the documentary and the live one where announced by Virus productions last year)
3 – a DVD compilation gathering all the video clips they did.So, just be patient.
Last I read the idea of compiling a dvd out of all the 2005 shows had been scrapped, and replaced by a dvd of either one of the Dec. NYC shows, or one of the Dec. Boston shows, or some combo of those.
Has a dvd of Dino videos actually been mooted, or are you just referring to J’s remark in the Where You Been reissue that it would be cool if someone someday compiled those on a dvd?

OK, I guess that means it’s not happening in August……by the end of 2006, hopefully?……I bet we’ll see the new album before the dvd at this rate.

I thought they were shooting for the end of 2006, but that was just from off-the-cuff remarks made by J in a couple interviews. The last bit of info I read from J (from a recent interview, posted somewhere in the forum) was something along the lines of "We’re trying to get an album together," however, which makes it sound a bit less firm.

Yeah, I had never heard anything about any date at all. i was thinking around then or early 07.
I think I remember articles saying they were taking July to work on the disc, hopefully out by the end of the year.
Dinosaur Jr have been added toATP Nightmare Before Christmas in Dec ’06, would be the perfect show to debut/promote new material…
Hopefully we get a DVD before christmas…
