Kevin is always in the top ten.check out the social security page for names issued during your year………see the most popular…….see how many others from the same year share your first name.

I just want them to add GET ME and WHAT ELSE IS NEW to the setlist!
OUT THERE is an amazing song…I love hearing it live.

I’d love to hear that live again. it was amazing on the HAND IT OVER tour, with his Big Muff solo taking over the flute part.

GREAT IDEA.May 16, 2007 at 6:52 am #128821I vote for something from Hand it Over, except Alone which takes too long, and squeeses out other tunes, especially at festivals.

He never even plays stuff from that album, except for Alone, with the Fog. Which is weird, given that when Dino toured that album they played nearly every song off it.
I’m hoping that when the J/Lou/Murph lineup takes an extended break, or calls it quits, J will go out with the Schools/Spence Fog and play nothing at all from the J/Lou/Murph era. Then we might hear some of those great Hand It Over tracks. I don’t know, though. J was pretty bummed with how things turned out business-wise at the end of the Hand It Over tour, and he might have bad associations with those tunes, the way he does with Bug.

I hope that doesn’t happen for a long time.

good luck to them cashing in, but I won’t bother seeing them again live.
still they proudly advertise these gigs as having the volume on 11/10.
Too Loud = Too Stupid = DJ
for years, fans have complained about the stupidly-loud-volume and J doesn’t give a shit. His arrogance is the real problem.
DJ had better look out – some cluey fans might get the idea of a forming a class action for the damage they have done to 10000s of damaged ear drums. DJ have the duty of care. Just turn it the f**k down. Deliberately damaging kids ear drums is a pretty low act.
May 18, 2007 at 7:26 am #128826yeah, well, I hope you had ear plugs……………..but I’m with you in a way………….I don’t like to listen to music through ear-plugs………even good ones, that let you hear better…………………….the volume has become some sort of "gimmick" like Alice Coopers make-up or the Flaming Lips ball……………I think it was Okay at first because it was different……….sort of like sound art or performance art mixed with music…………………….When you were young you could walk out laughing, saying to each other "Oh, my God, that was loud". Your ears rang even with ear-plugs, but now, I don’t know how old you are, but I too just am wondering "What the F*CK"
My husband who is probably more arrogant than J (I’m only guessing because I don’t know J very well) he says J is hiding his music behind the volume sort of like he hides behind his hair when he sings…………….he doesn’t realize how good it is and is compensating with volume. I don’t know, I like loud but there have been times when I have removed the ear-plug and it hurts, it such an assult, very scary for me……….there have been times when I haven’t worn ear-plugs and I just tried to find a safe freakin’ spot……..like my brother in law Bagdad…………..freakin’ crouching in the corner somewhere. I hope he drops the volume someday. I had testing done a few years ago on my ears and I have lost a good bit of the upper range but I wouldn’t blame that on anyone else ……….I like to listen to music loud…………..I’ve been to other loud shows but never as loud.
May 18, 2007 at 8:03 am #128827Yup, rumors about wearing earplugs to a Dino show have been circulating for years… The first night, I wanted to… pardon me… beat up the soundman because the sound was so loud and shit. It was almost the same feeling as wanting to beat up some guy in a city truck who clipped me while I was walking on the sidewalk or some other guy who didn’t put his breaks on nearing a stop sign while I was crossing the street… The kick drum and the bass were punching right through my chest cavity. But better there than higher… Second night got a bit better. Third night was fun because people were stepping on my toes every five minutes and it was nice to see their reaction when they realised what they did (heh
). Oh yeah, the sound wasn’t stellar but it was OK. Mind you, I was wearing earplugs at every show.May 18, 2007 at 8:42 am #128828Newsflash guys:
Dino Jr is really loud.
20 some-odd years in and this is an angry surprise to some?
Personally, I like to stand right in front of J’s stacks, without earplugs. it’s loud, but it’s never painful. Sounds great.
If you think the band is dumb because they are loud, then you don’t get it.
As Neil Young sang in "Prisoners of Rock N Roll"…"People tell us that we play too loud. But they don’t know what our music’s about."

I’ve been following Dino for some nearly 20 odd years and I’ve only started wearing earplugs since the ressurection. Hell, I didn’t even wear earplugs at a Neil Young concert and I was front row.
May 18, 2007 at 9:15 am #128830Dino for the last 3 years is no where near as loud as the FOG. J used to kill us playing in the Fog.
My ears would ring for two days after Fog shows, and I was wearing plugs for all of them.I didn’t wear plugs at all for the LA shows. I didn’t think it was that loud.
