I’m so excited about the new album, even if it sound more like the Fog.

J’s songwriting seems to have changed so much over the years, at least to me. Obviously, his singing and playing have changed over the years as well, but the lyrics seem so different to me.

It’s hard to explain, but the first few albums were so unlike anything else I’d ever heard.

      examples-

Caterpillars munching on the leaves, pitter patter, makes me forget my disease….

Your better then my pillow, because you dont stain so easily………

Bugs have feelers, just like me, and I’m feeling oh so lonely…..

How I tried to warn my neighbor, but the …………..

Lyrics like that were so radically different from anything else I’ ever heard up until that point, and seemed to have a desperation to them or something. It’s wierd, I think J’s songwriting is more mature now, but the old stuff was just so different to me.

But then Drawerings is my all time favorite J song, so I guess I’m just a big dumb ass that doesn’t know what the hell I’m talking about.

I look forward to any music these guys put out. It’s too bad Lou couldn’t have a little more room to express himself, but I know the album will be great.

Will it be Your Living All Over Me great, or More Light great. We’ll see.
