      It appears php is missing from Lou’s forum. Gee, I wish we ran that website, it would be up right now.
      Lou, what’s going on man ?

        Must be a server issue since the jakerock-forum (on Jason Loewenstein’s site) is down, too. Both forums (and homepages) are run by Chris Heric, a friend of Sebadoh’s. About a week ago I tried accessing the jakerock forum and it said something like "Hackers unite" or so and it all seemed very weird to me… :o

          yeah … I have a feeling it’s been hacked. A couple weeks ago I tried to go to jakerock.com and there was stuff like "HaCkEd by MiNDCrimE" all over it. :(

            I got this email right around the time it happened.

            Code:
            The following is an email sent to you by an administrator of "www.C0RRUPT.com". If
            this message is spam, contains abusive or other comments you find offensive please
            contact the webmaster of the board at the following address:

            r00t@c0rrupt.com

            Include this full email (particularly the headers).

            Message sent to you follows:
            ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
            Stop by our website for tips on how to secure your network, website, and home PC.
            -MindKrime
            www.c0rrupt.com
            If they have my email, that means the user database is compromised.
            The passwords in the database are encrypted with MD5, but that can be overcome, so I hope the users on Lou’s forum, use different passwords than their email address on Lou’s forum.
            I would change your email passwords just to stay safe
            And the emails were sent from the Admin section on the website. Sent from someone who logged on as Chris, and did a ‘mass email.’
            The hacker’s IP address is 24.175.255.242
                I’m just learning about computers but it seems to me that an ip address should be able to be located all the way to a street address. The hacker’s IP address is 24.175.255.242
                Are the ip adresses that hackers use fake or hi-jacked, something like that? I know my ip address is/has been the same for years, in order to carry our web-site/ Question? Where do hackers get an ip address?
                Aren’t they issued by the service provider, Does one need a service provider to use the internet. I mean
                who holds the data base for ip addresses. Can you just reach into air and make one up? Who issues them? Anyone want to try and answer any of theses thanks.
                thanks, I’m just curious?
