We can walk our road together if our goals are all the same
We can run alone and free if we persue a different dream
Let the truth of love be lighted, let the love of truth shine clear
Sensability, armed with sense of liberty…..Hmmph…no Rush fans out there, I guess. It’s The Sphere from Hemispheres.
I’m gonna try one more before I put a fork in this thread:
Eight times of fel-an-fo-fi
Like cobalt cast and clean
I got a mojo felt the wheel
Real fashion feel
Tri-Jack it, black it for more
Handcuffs with special keys
Triple locked and been down defiled
It’s a V. S. I.December 11, 2005 at 4:00 pm #113128
…Honey Bucket…Â

Little country store with a sign tacked to the side
Said no l-o-i-t-e-r-i-n-g allowed
Underneath that sign always congregated quite a crowdTake a bottle, drink it down, pass it around
Take a bottle, drink it down, pass it around
Take a bottle, drink it down, pass it around?

Crap, cause I was gonna do State of Love and Trust eventually:
No one here is asking
But there is a question of trust.
You will do what looks good to you on paper
We will do what we must

your lyrics:
Fugazi – ReclamationEvery day, I get up and pray to Jah
And he increases the number of clocks by exactly one?
December 13, 2005 at 6:43 pm #113131AH HA! Patty Griffen- Useless Desires! Good one, Deepsludge.
When I was but a meger college student there was some lady covering Patty’s songs in the student union every day for like a week.
Now, for one of my favorite songs on all time:
And I tell this truth to you
Not out of spite or anger
But, simply because it’s true
Now you must provide some answers
For what you sell has not been received
And the sooner you come up with them
The sooner you can leave (cue tear inducing slide)December 16, 2005 at 6:51 pm #113132"duane " wrote:AH HA! Patty Griffen- Useless Desires! Good one, Deepsludge. When I was but a meger college student there was some lady covering Patty’s songs in the student union every day for like a week.

Years ago my heart was set to live on
And I’ve been tryin’ hard against unbelievable odds
Gets so hard at times like now to hold on
Guns they waited to be stuck by
And at my side is GodGosh, I;m a sucjer for harmonies

December 23, 2005 at 6:46 pm #113138This guys an icon! And apperantly he was deemed worthy enough to play with Wilco (where I matched the picture up) so he’s OK in my book.
It’s definately Billy Bragg (maybe with the Blokes, I’m not sure), but the song I’m gonna guess and say errrrr….New England. Maybe?
Don’t flame me to bad for the ignorance!
December 23, 2005 at 7:42 pm #113139Completely correct, it’s "A new England", probably better known by the beautiful version that Kirsty MacColl made of it….
