without a doubt, my favorite moment in any song is the second "let you cry" part of Little Mascara by The Replacements. Always has and always will send chills up my spine everytime i hear it.
the "through all the shit stained curtains" part of Hassle by Sebadoh.
the metallish riff in Kracked right before J goes into his solo, which is always blasted on the first note everytime me and my friends are driving around
when Big Black blasts into the "you are my precious thing" part of Precious Thing after the lone bass line.

If you get the chance you have to hear the version of this by the Dan Band. I bet you’ll like it better.
July 12, 2006 at 3:00 pm #71940Syd Barrett is dead. One magical moment was this one:
In 1975 Pink Floyd was recording a song, dedicated to Syd who was kicked out of the band in…1968? The song was "shine on yoo crazy diamond".
A strange looking guy was at the studio, watching them recording. At the moment Roger Waters and band realized that it was Syd who walked in, he already had left the building, without speaking a word. I guess that was the final goodbye and not in 2006.July 26, 2006 at 10:39 pm #71941Saw Dino Jr. last november, ’05 in Pittsburgh.. during Kracked during J’s first solo ends and Lou has small bass riff "solo", well Lou blows out his stack and as they’re scrambling to fix it J see’s whats going on and keeps improv’ing his solo, all the while staring with undiverted indifference, never looking at anything else (not even the guitar) while they get it fixed.. J stops and Lou dont miss a beat and gets rite to where he shoulda been litterally about 4 mins. prior.
And J seemed to have no interest in even being ANYwhere, let alone Pittsburgh on a snowy ass winter nite. That was pleasingly mind-blowing to me. I kept yelling at my friend with a big-ass smile- "he doesnt even care he’s here! YEAH!".
J cracked a smile once from some drunk yellin something… i was 20 then.. and still am atm, and i was just stunned i got to see my rock heroes in the original line-up playing a set full of songs from my fave album by anyone/any band EVER – YLAOM.All time greatest personnal moment in music.
