Everbody else is running about talking about their new found boyfriends and girlfriends and lovers. Here’s my love lire. Expect this entry to be updated a coupla times.
I spent the holiday weekend in Grand Rapids at Sara(without an H)’s Grandparent’s house, I went up because (A)Sara’s Grandparents are great people who let me muss their sheets and eat their food for a few days and (B)Matty from Abe Froman was having a graduation party in Lansing (actually in Diamondale) that was potentially the bext thing ever. I sorta got invited because of the following dialoge:
Me: Are you going to the big Hoopla in Michigen?
Sara: Yeah, do you wanna go with me?
Me: Um.. Sure. And then Sara’s mom wanted us to drive us so she (her mom) could visit her Grandparents for a few days. Then Sara’s aunt was flying in from Cali. And then it turned out I was basically attending someone else’s family reunion. But, hey, the food was free, and I didn’t have to deal with that bane of existance that is Motel Air Conditioning.
And I thought (think) Sara is one of the coolest peoples ever.
My dad said: "She likes you"
My Mom said: "She probably likes you"
My Brother called to say: "She’s practically throwing herself at you."An I like Sara. She’s sweet, she’s pretty, she’s smart. She’s the type of person I wish I was. I fell for her a long long time ago. I never ask people out, I’m shy about love. Thus I spent the weekend (A)Enjoying a f-ing A concert and (B)calling upon my meger resources of strength to ask her out. On Sunday night, I did. We were in the living room alone, reading in each others presence.
Me: Sara, What would happen if I said I liked you?
Sara: I don’t know. Then she left the room for a moment to get something, andwhen she came back we carried on as though nothing had happened. But everybody who’s been in this spot knows that some line’s been crossed, and things won’t be the same. I’m imagining some of it I’m sure. but nonetheless. . .

May 30, 2003 at 10:22 pm #93842Holy crap. I’ve never enjoyed a Malcom Report yet, but this was by far the most interesting. Let me know how it turns out, my little LiveJournal buddy, I’m eagerly anticipating an outcome. I’m hoping for you!
