Mascis drumming in mid-90’s death metal band?

please forgive me if this topic has already been raised elsewhere…i’m new here and there’s a lot of old posts to read.

i read somewhere that J was drumming for a death metal band called UpsideDownCross around the Without a Sound/Hand It Over era. does anyone know anything about this? i’d love to hear some tunes if i could.

Hey, I came across this today. It looks like you posted it a looong time ago. But I have an answer for you:
Try amazon.com I got my copies of both releases (Upsidedown Cross, and Evilution) by Upsidedown Cross for a penny each (plus shipping, of course!). They also had J’s other ‘project’, Gobblehoof (Gobblehoof and Freezerburn), also both for a penny each.

Try doing a search on these items if you havent gotten them yet…

thanks for all the information. unfortunately, i will not be able to order those tantalizing items until next summer, when i will be returning to Canada for an extended vacation. i don’t know if Amazon will deliver to the People’s Republic of China, and besides, i don’t have a credit card anyway…
