Yes… great gig, just drank a little to much and then had a severe case of stage fright when meeting the man himself. Wasn’t helped by the fact that J looked absolutely terrified of me – anyway, if your reading this, thanks muchly for the photo and would like to repeat that i am not a physco – that would be Mikeey! Please come again!!!
Mikeey & Breezy – thank goodness, I thought i was the only one who frightened J (asked for his autograph). The great man looked a bit puzzled. And that was before he’d even started to leave the stage area and walk through the adoring crowd.
Finally, I’ll never forget the main man and his rucksack ! <img>

to rest, at last. He looked at me like i was seriously deranged though – which i am not… promise. I think half of J’s charm is that he doesn’t get it i.e. he’s doesn’t realise what an absolute legend he is. I think next time we should all wait till he’s finish packing his stuff away and buy the man a beer….. how many beers would that be???? J pissed – now that’d be interesting!!!May post the photo on the board if it’s not too embarrassing. Agree about the rucksack too – bloody classic.

I think your spot on.. J probably doesn’t get the popularity/legend/importance thing. He sees people in awe of him with open mouths staring, so he does the same thing back…it may be an in-joke from J that we didnt get ….until now !!. Kracked it !
Also, who else would have setup their gear on stage from a rucksack (which also contained his clothes)..no-one.. ? weird, but somehow utterly brilliant.
No probs – will send you the picture….. will have to wait until after the weekend to use the rest of the film – going on a stag do so that should’nt be too tricky.
Stag do and cameras……lethal combination. Probably best you dont take the film to Boots or Tescos to be developed. Could be copper waiting for you at the till when you go to collect !

Let’s hope that all of those guest list people were journalists in disguise who were there to promote J’s new album, soon <img>And there we have it in writing ‘alt-rock guitar legend’….. must of missed the FIVE encores though. MIKEEEY!
why j dosen´t play in (north) germany???
@flying cloud at the grosse freiheit….i think you know it <img> ….it would be cool to sit on that fucking chairs and whatch j plays acoustic guitar……or a concert with only a few people……and everybody can stand in the first row…….*dreamingdreamingdreaming* <img> <img>

first row would be cool, but I hope there would be more than just a few people <img>there have been some hints during the last weeks that there might be a European solo acoustic tour in the fall, so we maybe just have to be patient… <img>
