PIXIES DOUBLE WHAMMY !
PIXIES have announced that they will wrap up their North American tour with two special final concerts.
The band will wind up their US jaunt by playing a double whammy of gigs at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom on December 18.
The first show will kick off at 7pm with support from Mike Watt And The Secondmen, followed by a midnight performance with support coming from 50 Foot Wave.
Tickets for the concerts go on sale this Saturday (October 9) and will be priced at $42, while pre-sale tickets will be available from today (October 5) through http://www.pixiesmusic.com.
Pixies have already sold out six consecutive nights at the Hammerstein Ballroom (December 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 and 16) and the dates mark the band’s first return to New York since their performance at The Ritz on November 23, 1991.
