Most overrated Dinosaur Jr songs?

That’s it….. it seems everybody likes it for the soloing, nothing else. That’s why it annoys me. I just don’t like it at all.

Mountain Man is a silly song, it’s fun – really fun. It’s like Sabbath with a sense of humour. The lyrics are ace.

It’s not like it’s one of their most requested songs to be played live…… It feels like they play it at every show.

Drawerings annoys me too. It sounds exactly like Get Me. Another song I don’t like at all but some people seem to really like it is Budge. I just don’t see it. It’s my last favorite early Dinosaur song.

Mountain Man is one of my favorite dinosaur songs live and on record. I would kill for them to do a whole record that sounds like that, a perfect melding of hardcore and sabbath. Beyond follow-up?

Budge is neither here nor there for me, like most of Bug.

Start Choppin rules it just for the falsetto lead up to the chorus. More falsetto please!

I think the Puke+Cry/Blowin It/I Live For That Look run is one of the most underrated stretches on any dinosaur album. I think they should dust off those and play them.

i agree. they did blowin it/live for that look/never bought it/puke + cry on HBO reverb in 97 and i thought it was perfect that those songs were near each other again haha.

Well to me the whole "YLOAM" album is overrated but I think i can’t feel the real impact when it was released (just one year after my birth !).
