I think They Always Come off of Bug is a really great song. I think some of the stuff on Dinosaur doesn’t get enough praise. Lose gets over shadowed by everything else on YLAOM, and while J’s songs were better I think Lose is a great song in its own right.

Post Lou, I think there are a lot of songs nobody gives a shit about. Half of the stuff on Green Mind, for example. On The Way, Grab It, and Even You are all great songs I think that it seems nobody remembers. Can’t We Move This and I Don’t Think So are two of my favorite Dinosaur singles that nobody really ever talks about.

What about you guys? What songs do you think should get more praise?

the live versions of they always come sounds a bit hasty. but i dig that song, the slow part is beautiful.
going home is brilliant. and of course most others. on the way is quite cool, almost over the top loud and noisy on the album.

id have to say cats in a bowl, lose, they always come from the early albums and i know yer insane is a great song i love the cover to the single… i need to reby that one.

Poledo, that ones a mind opener if your "inspired". But definatly Lose, Let It Ride, Quest, In A Jar, Water, Muck, goin Home, I don’t think so, Getting Rough, and pretty much everything else off of Hand it over.

I never really liked Lose all that much, but They Always Come is one of my favorite DJ songs. Every song on Bug is astounding.

I have always loved Over Your Shoulder. The guitar playing in that song is simply awesome. I never understood why it wasn’t a single.

You guys already named a bunch of my underrated Dino faves. I’ll throw in Drawerings. It’s probably my 2nd favorite Dinosaur jr song ever. I always thought Turnip Farm was a great song too.
