Most underrated Dinosaur Jr songs?

I think Hand It Over is an all-around underrated album…I remember that people were so snobby about it when it came out (never understood why) but I would gladly watch J perform "Alone" a million times– acoustic, electric, on a xylophone, whatever. The rest of the album is such a beautiful mixed bag of sounds. I love it.

I never get tired of Alone.It`s like a variation on Turnip Farm but better.

I was always bored with Alone, it wasn’t until recently that I’ve come to appreciate it. I still think its a little slow, and the falsetto is a bit much, but the leads are awesome as usual.

Its still not one of my favorite songs though. :-

I like Alone well enough on the album, but I really love it live, especially when it goes on for 10+ minutes. The version on the Middle East Fog dvd blows me away every time. It’s some of the best playing I’ve ever heard from J.

King Tubby is like….well, if my mom gave birth to twins and we were separated. We often think the same things.

i flimed that dvd. it was cool how the band dropped out whilst he solo’d and came back in.. ii dunno its just my least favorite dinosaur song haha. esspecially since its the only song on hand it over he kept playing throughout the years, and theres so many better ones he coulda kept alive. and its just like Em, D, C oover and over, it doenst go anywhere. most dinosaur songs do, i mean i enjoy a simple 3 chord song but its just a really long song haha. i dunno im not hating.. although i guess i am… whatever.. haha. im done with this spiel.
