Its the guitar playing and song writing that got me initially. I like J’s falsetto, but it just seems a bit much for me in Alone.

Personally I like the studio version of Alone more than any live version I’ve heard.

I think I Don’t Think is a really good song from the later years. I used to hate it. But recently the chorus has been stuck in my head for the past few days.

I listened to the whole of Bug for the first time in a while and have to say "Keep the Glove" is pretty brilliant. The chorus has that catchy Nirvana quality long before Kurt was doing it.

            Great song. :)

              Throw Down from Fossils.

I’ve heard it live once with the Fog. J played it while George went to the bar to get a drink after a song.

                  I agree
‘I don’t think’ is one of my favorite Dinosaur Jr song. The chorus is killer. Bilinda Butcher from My Bloody Valentine did the backup vocals.
And I think ‘Alone’ is definitetely boring. This song probably means a lot for J ’cause he’s still playin’ it live.
I love ‘Never bought it’… one of my favs

I Ain’t Saying is pretty good. Its very epic for a 2 minute song.

I Ain’t Sayin’ is really cool because it’s such a unique closer. He packs a lot into the song in only two minutes.

Pond Song is one of my favorites from the early years and definitely qualifies as underrated.
