Hi Frenchboy !
Hopefully some of the freakscene members from France will find their way back here when the new album is released.
There are quite a few of you, so hopefully you’ll be able to hook up with some like minded people from France then. Also, have you checked out http://www.freesofree.net ? If I remember correctly there are some dino shows from France on there.

Oh, Believe me, I’ll be able to hook up with french fans, but be able to spend more than 1000$ tripping and staying just a few days in your beautiful country seems to me another kettle of fish !

Hope Dino’ll jump over the ocean soon, but I do hope take time to visit USA once open a time in my life !
However I’d like to thank you for your kindness !
Hope you’re well Rob, Have a nice day !
Tommy.
March 3, 2009 at 2:16 pm #132037I was probably a bit fuzzy last night, sorry about that. What I meant is that I think dino will probably tour in europe in support of the new record. I might remember wrong, but I think they’re already booked for the Prima Vera festival in Spain ? Oh wait, maybe that was last year ?
Anyways, I’m sure they’ll head across the pond to tour the new album.I live in norway and sadly they’ve only played festivals here, I would’ve loved for them to come and play in a club instead.
March 3, 2009 at 2:58 pm #132038Oh ok ! Can’t say if you were fuzzy or something but just understood you lived in the USA waiting for the upcoming of european fans. So I was a little bit wrong too

So let’s expect J, Lou and Murph a little while and I’d be the happiest man on earth the moment I’ll see Europe dates.PS: I’ve just checked Prima vera festival program and no Dino there ! too bad…
March 3, 2009 at 3:05 pm #132039Ok, I saw them there last year, and for some reason I thought they were confirmed for this year as well, but sadly that was just wishful thinking.
Yeah, fingers crossed they’ll be heading our way soon !
I posted this in the all purpose thread as well, but if you haven’t read it you should go to http://www.dimeadozen.org and download the great dvd of a dino concert in portugal last year. Pro shot, and a great performance from the guys. It makes the wait a little easier to handle

March 4, 2009 at 12:17 pm #132041Turnip Farm is like a warm up of Alone.Cool song
March 26, 2009 at 2:03 pm #132042@turnip farm being a warm up of alone: actually, turnip farm is the older tune here

recently, I started digging over your shoulder… I’m finally getting to like without a sound (of course not love it passionately, but a warmer emotion than the cold-shouldered indifference I had for it before), and this tune is actually really pretty.
March 29, 2009 at 3:28 pm #132043The Leper. I had never heard of it until I got Dinosaur and it’s an amazing song.
June 9, 2009 at 1:26 am #132044hi..
the live versions of they always come sounds a bit hasty. but i dig that song, the slow part is beautiful.
going home is brilliant. and of course most others.June 9, 2009 at 9:51 am #132045"Rumpy" wrote:@turnip farm being a warm up of alone: actually, turnip farm is the older tune here

I actually think WAS is underrated as an album. I feel like dino fans don’t really like it because it was maybe their most mainstream but there are lots of good songs on there. For this discussion:
Over Your Shoulder
Even You
On The Brinkare all underrated in my opinion.
June 9, 2009 at 12:17 pm #132046The debut. As I said before since I got the reissue i`ve been more into it.Cats In A Bowl,Does It Float,The Gargoyle… Pointless is the only one I usually skip
July 2, 2009 at 10:24 pm #132047I’d say "Lose" and "Poledo." Their debut is pretty underrated as well.
August 4, 2009 at 7:28 pm #132048I like many styles of music, as long as I think it is good

But definatly Lose, Let It Ride, Quest, In A Jar, Water, Muck, goin Home, I don’t think so, Getting Rough, and pretty much everything else off of Hand it over.i mean yeah, my favorite underated song is never bought it.
