I listened to the whole of Bug for the first time in a while and have to say "Keep the Glove" is pretty brilliant. The chorus has that catchy Nirvana quality long before Kurt was doing it.

I’ve still gotta go with Mind Glow. Absolutely amazing song.

Also, Sure Not Over You is never talked about. Excellent guitar!

Gettin’ Rough and Gotta Know. Two amazing songs hidden at the back end of an underrated record. Not the songs that immediately come to mind when someone says Dinosaur Jr but maybe they should be. When I held you close/Felt my mind explode gets me every time.

In general I think all Dino songs are underrated a lot of the time. A lot of the press and blogs that have summed up Dino as this sort of ‘classic indie rock band’ or ‘godfathers of grunge’ seem to treat them as sort of a novelty and make reference to the volume, but there’s so much more to ’em than that, the songwriting is rarely mentioned and it is so, so good.

"Blah" – from the Melrose Place CD – is my new favorite Dinosaur Jr. song. Why this song wasn’t on an official D Jr. release (it’s definitely better than most if not all b-sides from the post-Where You Been era)? I found this CD for $2 at a used sale; if you can find it it, pick it up. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.

I would say "Can’t we move this" and "Not you again". Both songs are soooo good.
