      Cool interview, also mentions the legendary sleep-walking incident during 1988 Euro tour… 8)
      Oh, they mixed up the names, it should read MURPH, not Mascis (at the beginning of interview) ;D

      Dinosaur Jr. returns from extinction for tour

      J. Mascis and Lou Barlow, two thirds of Dinosaur Jr., haven’t always been the best of friends. In the late ‘80s relentless touring in poor conditions let tensions grow thin. During one sparsely attended show in Connecticut, Lou Barlow, bassist for the band, simply sat on a drum riser playing one long note throughout the show. Mascis eventually had enough and tried to beat up Barlow with his guitar. Barlow narrowly escaped by using his bass as a shield.

      Years later, Mascis admitted that yes, “It made a pretty good sound.â€
