        thanks for the info, Allison!

cool to know that Murph is still around on the scene – together with former GobbleHoof singer Charlie Nakajima

I listened to the song ‘Public Buddha’, it has a Stooges kind of sound, and I think that’s not at all bad :P

i downloaded Public Buddha, sounds catchy – i havent heard much stooges stuff, only the tribute shows – but it does seem to have a ‘stooges feel’ to it. Some good guitar riffs in there :), and the drums work really good with the feel of it to :)

It reminds me of another song i’ve heard but i cant think what it is – any suggestions?
It might be a mother love bone track but i’m not sure

Not positive but the drummers name is Patrick Murphy and they were based in Lowell, Massachusetts so the odds are pretty good.

                The Kata Atlas

                Quote:
The Kata Atlas was a band that existed from October 2001 until September 2004. We released one 7 inch vinyl record and had a song on a CD compilation called Bricks and Mortar. Before the end of the band, we recorded one full length record called "The Architect, the Scientist, and the Palm Tree." Since we are no longer a band, it is unlikey the LP will ever see a proper release. Rather than file the recordings away however, I have posted (OR WILL SOON BE POSTING) the whole album here. Hey, even though it’s not on vinyl the way it should be, people can at least hear, and hopefully enjoy, the music we created. Kevin Hogan recorded this and we thank him much.
