I started running a while ago, and I found out that it’s way more fun with some music in my mp3 player
The first two Sleater-Kinney albums, Call The Doctor and Dig Me Out work perfectly for me, but what else? …I’ve been looking for a Punk Rock Aerobics playlist or something, but didn’t find any such thing on their site :?

      any other suggestions/experiences?

        Maybe:
        St Johnny-Speed Is Dreaming
        Some Girls-Feel It
        Slant 6-Soda Pop Rip Off

I’ve heard good things about The New Pornographers from a few people.

cool, thanks for the tips so far, I started with downloading New Pornographers and Slant6 to see if they work for me. also it seems to be a great occasion to take a closer look to the mighty Hellacopters :P
…a mix of songs is a good idea, I’ll think of that, but probably it will be without AC/DC

great spring weather outside, I’ll go running now

Because of my bad knee (soccer injury) only my nose is running everynow and then.
To keep in shape I picked up bicycling.
With Franz Ferdinand on my cd-player I go faster.

hey hansione, somewhere back in my mind I remember a knee surgery story, and one about a male nurse  good to hear your knee is fine for cycling :) …running isn’t the best thing for the knees, indeed.

I listened only once to the Franz Ferdinand album, so far. they appeared to me like quite a hype, but nevertheless the music is ok, I think.

Running?!?!? I would’ve thought you german girls were too well behaved to spend your free time running around the streets of Hamburg… :P

y’know, I live in a red light district here, and the residents in my ‘hood usually sleep at daytime, when I’m running around  lots of tourists here also, but I don’t see why I should care ….about the residents as well as the tourists  …and they don’t care about me.
I’m usually running in the nearby park, anyway :)

BTW running without music on the ears isn’t bad eather, specialy while jogging at the presence of mother nature.

FC, I was just trying to tease you. Of course you shouldn’t care about the pushers, hookers and turbojugends when you’re out running:)
Also, I would like to suggest NOFX – Punk in Drublic as a great running album.
