I’m not too optimistic, I’ll admit that, but it just won’t be the same without him. And it certainly won’t sound as good.

Pavement and Dino have that similar in your face but laid back essense in their music. I think they are similar in many ways.

The other band which I have yet to see mentioned in this post, but is a ole’ favorite of mine is Firehose – and you gotta have mike watt on bass. Dino and Firehose and the Meatpuppets – a dream triple bill for me.
