Finding someone who repairs them is the problem
yeah,it won`t click that starts it spinning.I tried to mess around with it to see if I can get it going but no luck 
Mattman brings up a good point, mind much clearer now also, there aren’t many things that can go wrong with a turntable. The belt might just have snapped. You can replace that easily, the tricky part is finding a new belt. I’ve heard of people using a large rubber band even.

sorry to hear about the death of your turntable sg, hope you get a new one soon … (or maybe you can follow likeaghost’s advice + fix it somehow)
we have a turntable here + i’d be lost w/o it … everyone knows vinyl is best

Thought I try spinning it around with my finger and guess what happened when I let it go?it started spinning by itself!!ps-Robert-I`ll reply to yr pm later
