Alright I keep remembering this song that was big in, I believe, the early to mid nineties. I don’t have much info, but I do have that weird sort of nostalgia and fragments and bits of the song.
The entire song was based on this lockstep rhythem that went like:
ba DA, ba DA, ba DA DA DA DA.
The singer had a whiney british voice that for some reason reminds me of that chap from the Verve.
The refrain was something like
Alone
Away
I’m outta my mind.
Repeated several times.
The only part of the chorus I remember was:
My girlfriend (something something)er
When In my bedroom you know
She’ll Leave me never.
It’s kinda embarrasing isn’t it? Like describing engine noises to your mechanic.
