Pumpkins’ Sad Peter Pan…..
With Google so close this game needs an iron disciplin!

Try this one:
I’ll set myself on fire with cigarettes
I’ll set it out with drinks
Now that everything is gone
I don’t even care if doomsday comes
I want to get drunk tonight
So I can forget everyone and everything
Disapear in the smoke
and never look back againOctober 18, 2004 at 1:31 pm #105384"Hansione" wrote:Pumpkins’ Sad Peter Pan…..The Pumpkins covered it but who did the original

the Pumpkins did that song (together with Red Red Meat
) on Sweet Relief II, Gravity of the situaton, a benefit/tribute for Vic Chesnutt…
(another great song from that album: ‘Guilty by Association’, a duet by Joe Henry & Madonna….)October 18, 2004 at 7:33 pm #105386"Bucky Ramone" wrote:"SG" wrote:"Hansione" wrote:Pumpkins’ Sad Peter Pan…..The Pumpkins covered it but who did the original

October 19, 2004 at 12:49 am #105387You see my problem is this
I’m dreaming away
Wishing that heroes, they truly exist
I cry, watching the days
Can’t you see I’m a fool in so many ways
But to lose all my senses
That is just so typically me

…nice try, but still, Norway: zero points…..
October 25, 2004 at 4:49 am #105393…those Norwegian fruit diets are quite dangerous: at first they make you hear lyrics that aren’t there, and then you lapse into silence for a couple of days….

….now listening to a great Richard Thompson cover of this great
song, and, like I said, if you haven’t heard or seen this song at least a 1000 times, you’ve been living on another planet the last 4 years…..
