Or maybe to Spain and she’d ask me to dance
In a mansion on the top of a hill
She’d ash on the carpets
And slip me a pill
Then she’d get pretty loaded on gin
And maybe she’d give me a bath
How I wish I had……

), has appeared in this game before, and in this song he’s singing about a famous dead poet….

Some lyrics for thinking about:
Sun came up it was another day
And the sun went down you were blown away
Why’d you let go of your guitar
Why’d you ever let it go that farWhen I hear this song, It always makes me so happy, I feel all warm and fuzzy inside like Christmas eve mixed with frozen mango margaritas.

Drunken Angel by Lucinda Williams

Back in `95,a few days before Xmas I found her Sweet Old World album on tape and spent those days before Xmas listening to it over and over again.I`ve been a fan ever since.I`ll throw one out I was listening to yesterday…
"She likes Dinosaur Jr

She can`t tell you why
She says if you like country music
Man you deserve to die"

More hints:
In common with Byron & Yeats: She’s dead
In common with Jewel: this is from one of her poems:Quote:O jewel! O valuable!

That night the moon
Dragged its blood bag, sick
Animal
Up over the harbor lights.
And then grew normal,
Hard and apart and white.
The scale-sheen on the sand scared me to death.
We kept picking up handfuls, loving it,
Working it like dough, a mulatto body,
The silk grits.
A dog picked up your doggy husband. He went on.December 19, 2004 at 7:46 am #105442"Bucky Ramone" wrote:Trivia question: Who was the drunken angel LW is singing about
Wow, I have no idea, could be herself as the last time she was here so was, I think, a bit, well, ummmmm, drunk.
I know she had a few drinks at the "Last Resort" in town before her show, but who knows, lets see if anyone else knows before we give up.
Oh, the poet you are looking for, Sylvia Plath
