Nashville and Memphis, TN shows – Apr 9-10

I just bought my tickets for the two Tennessee shows.. I can’t believe that this is really happening!!

My husband and I own a big country home in a town directly between Nashville and Memphis. It is right off of Interstate 40. If there are any dino fans that will be coming through, give us a holler.

This of course applies to the band.. I am sure we could manage to host some rock stars..

We saw dinosaur jr. in Boston this past summer and it was amazing. This time, however, it will be on our own turf.

I’ll be at the Memphis show! Well, hopefully. I’m trying to get some friends to go with me even though they have no idea who Dinosaur Jr is. I really don’t want to make the 3-4 hour drive by myself, not to mention having to pay for gas on my own. If I do go, I’ll probably be coming up I-40. Maybe I’ll see you at the show.

I’m pretty much planning my life around these shows. I told my students that there will be no class on the day after the Memphis show. Anything for dino..

If you have never been to Young Avenue Deli, it is really worth it to see them there. It is a TINY space and you are sure to be really close to the stage.

I’m so there tomorrow tonight.

I’m supposed to go to the Memphis show, too.. but I haven’t bought a ticket and have been too lazy to arrange a ride.

Anyone pissed off about "only songs from the first three albums"… *sigh* whatever.

Really looking forward to this show. I’ve been so busy I forgot it was tomorrow night.

Any good places to get a few beers beforehand?
