NEW John Peel Session !?

Hi,

Tonight’s John Peel show on BBC Radio 1 (England) has a J Mascis session tonight at 10pm.

I wonder whether this is something new or a repeat of an old session (?)

10 pm Greenwich meantime means 11 pm for the rest of Europe, and (If I get it right) 5 pm Eastern Standard Time

If it is new material, it will be available in their online archives for some days after broadcast.

It’s definitely worth checking out if you’ve not already heard it.

you can download the songs, and the only extras – were a little bio, which i believe is on the radio 1 website and he mentioned http://www.freakscene.net which was cool

The show with J Mascis is still archived there at the moment.

John Peel played lots of very weird, not at all J-related music in this broadcasting and J played his tracks live in the BBC studio, between the other songs.
