Newbie Aussie, Hi!

Drop in and say hi? Don’t mind if I do.
I’ve been a long-time Mascis fan, especially of his guitar skills, and stumbled across him when a mate of mine wanted me to borrow "Green Mind" for him, off another friend of mine. Acting as courier, I took the opportunity to listen to it before I delivered it and something about the music just really REALLY appealed to me. I was surprised because all I’d heard by Dinosaur Jr at that stage was "just like heaven" which I thought they had done a crap job of covering.
I’ve bought every album since, and J mascis (whatever band he’s fronting) is without doubt my all-time favourite musician.
It’s nice to finally be here.

Yes, a nice welcome from me also, although you caught some of us at a really low point, At the newpaper stands here, all you see today are huge photographs of George Bush, I feel so sick to my stomach. Do I really live in a country where the intelligence level of the average citizen is so low?
