J OPENING FOR BUILT TO SPILL
thanks to our member bside we got to know that J will be opening for Built to Spill on June 2nd at the Showbox in Seattle

My friend in Vancouver said that J is opening up for Built to Spill there as well. I think there’s 2 Vancouver shows.

cool news about that J seems to cross the Canadian border once again… hope it’s for both Vancouver shows (06/03 and 06/04), or maybe just for one of them? In Seattle, J opens for one of three Built to Spill shows.
For all the folks around Vancouver on June 3 and 4…… J is confirmed through the local entertainment newspaper (the Georgia Straight) to be opening for Built to Spill at Richards on Richards….
Tix are available through Zulu, Scratch, Highlife, and Noize!

The Cobra Verde tourdates on the muscletone site have been updated in a great way:
most of the Cobra Verde gigs in June will be with J on guitar
(I updated the tour dates in the first post of this topic)
I just saw that the 2 California gigs (SF, 28th & LA 29th) aren’t listed anymore on the muscletone site… well best would be to contact the clubs for further info
looks like J’s been a great hit with the band and audience
, hope people round here will get to the shows…seems like it’s worth while to check the CV tour dates on the muscletone site daily
the LA show on 28th in the El Rey Theatre showed up again in the tour schedule
(but the SF show in Bottom of the Hill, June 27th won’t happen)And: On June 29th and 30th, there will be two FREE appearances of Cobra Verde with J on guitar: An in-store appearance (San Diego on June 29th, 3 pm) and a free show on June 30th in LA !!!
