      hmm, how the hell does J do this? i’m talking about the ending part with that huuuge wall of noise which sounds like shattering glass. is this just the amp volume doing its magic or was it something else?

        That’s the springs of a reverb tank rattling as he hits/kicks/bumps it.

            Oh yeah amps with a spring reverb rule because of this. I used to have this amp with a spring reverb and I would shake it violently to get that crazy sound. Totally cool. ;D

              ahh good, i thought only separate tanks could do this. i cant wait to try this out once i get a new amp.

                You CAN do this with your new amp… but beware… reverb tanks are pretty durable, but they can get damaged. It would really suck to toast the tank on your brand-new amp!
