Your blank post caused me to go over to the "blog" and see what I was missing. Seeing J, using a blow dryer on his pedal board (that could not have been fun) gave me a new understanding of something that happened here in May. We were at a festival type show, and had gentle rain on and off all day. Towards the end, however…the rain picked up…and the last band of the event (the one everyone was waiting around to see) cancelled.
I was really hacked off.The wind was blowing the rain around everywhere but the stage was covered as well as the loading ramp….I couldn’t understand why they couldn’t do it……. when the other bands were doing it….. J with the blow dryer made me look at the whole thing in another light….gosh, water and electronics…such a bad combo. Thanks Noel…for adding a great layer to our "fandom"Wikipedia has a great definition of "fandom" in which you find this great sentence….Fans typically are interested in even minor details of the objects of their fandom and spend a significant portion of their time and energy involved with their interest; this is what differentiates them from those with only a casual interest
Oh, I have a cool photograph of our "rain festival" day….that’s me under the fellows uplifted arm, in the black and grey batik hippie shirt and blue jeans. I was having a great day. I always love to post stuff here about my life because I want others to as well….we are a part of a "fandom" and I enjoy learning more about each of you here at Freakscene as well. Peace, S.

I’ll ask again because I loved seeing that tooGuess who’s back and bringing us along for the new Dino tour… 🙂

Thanks Jeremiah, for putting some of Noel’s photos up on FB through FS. I’ve been too busy to dick around in front of the computer like in the days of old. I’ve been so busy, I’ve eaten lunch standing up now for over a week. WTF! I either need my husband back or I need to find a wife…like asap. #toomuchworkforoneperson
