im not sure about the venue but i have a way to find out..
i am 100 percent positive that sonic youth welcomes there fans to record the shows through the soundboard or by video this came directly from lee renaldo. ive seen sebadoh and dinosuar and i saw sneeky people up front with vid cams they didnt seem to mindMarch 13, 2004 at 10:37 am #99252Good to hear Sonic Youths cool with fans recording their shows, J is definitely cool with that. We have people from all over the world providing recordings of wicked J shows for all to share, check out FreesoFree.net Recordings of this show could be uploaded there for all to enjoy…hint hint :aliensmile:

I haven’t heard of any plans of a J tour in South America, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed that you’ll have the chance to see one or more of J Mascis’ shows, they are amazing!

But he might plan some dates after australia and really get something cgoing with them. Its a shame though that J isn’t with a band and Lou and Jason are playing accoustic too. They should just have a big jam.
