Fanatics! I am amazed I am able to even stand up after three nights of Dinosaur Jr. at the Troubadour here in Los Angeles. The band played great. In A Jar, The Wagon, Freak Scene, Bulbs Of Passion, Forget The Swan, tracks from the new album Beyond, etc. ETC.!!! Lou, Murph and J all played great and it seems that all had a great time. Still reeling from it all, I had to play a little Dinosaur Jr. tonight to even out a little. Abe Vigoda will be playing at the Bark Bark Bark CD release at The Smell on the 16th and also XBXRX is at The Smell on the 20th along with Abe Vigoda. I have not seen them play in awhile, looking forward to seeing them Sunday if I can. I hope you enjoyed tonight’s show. 31. 05-11-07 LA CA: 2348 hrs. Back from the Dinosaur Jr. show. They were good. There were some frustrating moments when the vocal send wasn’t putting vocals through the PA. Not the band’s fault but I really would have preferred Little Fury Things with vocals. The band seemed to take a few songs to lock in all the way but they did and it got better and better as they played. I am looking forward to seeing them again tomorrow night. Got a lot of work done on the next Fanatic! book at the office today, that was good.

#132. 05-12-07 LA CA: 2347 hrs. Back from round 2 of Dinosaur Jr. They blew last night’s set away in every way. They came onstage and immediately went into it. Great versions of In A Jar, Little Fury Things, and my favorite off the new album, Been There All The Time. Lou the bass player was doing great stuff up there tonight. I am looking forward to tomorrow night. I got a lot done today writing wise. I am going to use the fact that I am not all that tired to see if I can get some more done and knock out around 0400 hrs
